We love to connect with others who share our values of kindness, connection, and environmental conscientiousness, and we believe in our collective power to build a stronger, more compassionate community. We have opportunities for volunteers, corporations, florists, event planners, and community organizations to get involved in our work.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Volunteer at our weekly floral upcycling sessions in Brooklyn from 9:30a.m. - 1p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and occasional weekends or other weekdays. 

• You’ll be loading in, stripping, and cleaning donated flowers; preparing bouquets; making silk flower crowns and bouquets; and helping with initial set-up, clean-up, and any other tasks needed.

• You’ll be on your feet the whole time and doing some light to medium lifting (10–15lbs). Please note that the tasks of each session may range depending on the mission of the day—in addition to working with fresh flowers, you should also be prepared to work with silk flowers, do some clean up, label vases, etc.—all tasks equally essential to the workings of our organization.

• No prior experience is required, but volunteers must be 18 years or older and must be up to date with Covid vaccinations. 

• Due to a high volume of volunteer interest, we cannot accommodate all requests. Volunteer sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Corporate Partnerships:

• Host a floral upcycling workshop with your employees, at your office or in our space! BloomAgainBklyn offers an array of opportunities for corporate partnership, including unique and impactful team-building sessions; therapeutic wellness workshops; floral donation programs; and collaborations with community organizations such as schools, universities, food pantries, child welfare organizations, senior centers, and health facilities.

Community Partnerships:

• We are interested in connecting with organizations that support at-risk or vulnerable populations, either to donate floral arrangements to, or to host workshops with your clientele to make your own arrangements and benefit from the therapeutic impact of flowers directly.

Flower Donations: 

• Companies, couples, event planners, and venues can give their floral arrangements a second life by donating your flowers to BloomAgainBklyn. You’ll not only extend the beauty of your special event but also contribute to meaningful causes in our community. For flower donations, we ask that the donor cover the breakdown and transportation costs (which we’ll arrange) as well as a proportionate donation to the organization to cover the associated costs for refurbishing and delivering your flowers to our community partners, in the event that the donation is made on a day in which we do not have an upcycling session already planned.
